Lol, lost couple of mil worth of items, transfering to main

I just lost a 6 atk wg and a good korean fan + other small items by trying to transfer items by dropping in the bowman advancement place. Hah. I started a new evan on a different account, so I thought I would transfer the items of my previous level 42 dexless sindit. It always used to work before, with transfering smaller items and all, but little did I know that this time my maple story wouldn't open. I clicked start game and nothing happened. When I finally got it working, logged into my evan, ch19, henesys park, the items were gone. I press zzzzz and nothing happens. Heh what a shock. Comment and tell me what you think. How do you transfer items? Do you take into account events like this? Edit: Can't use storage because their two different accounts =P

I don't drop them where anyone can get them. Storage or duey.

Get a trusty friend to hold them in the fm while you change accounts. I always do this.

I stopped drop-transfering when i lost 2 10 att WGs and 3 8 att wgs... in the same transfer... i got them mad cheap from MTS, all of them for just under 25K

i think they patched it, so that doesnt work. Anyway if its on a different account id use Duey, takes long but safer

Drop transferring is a really bad idea. Also, why would you do it in Heny park? o_o There's plenty of people walking through there everyday.

o.O drop transferring is like asking people to take your things after you go to another character, Never drop transfer ever unless it's just potions. always ask a guildie or friend to help you transfer important items

If it's on the same account: just use storage. If it's on another account: use Duey or have a really good friend/guildie pass it through. "Back in the day", before Duey, I used to drop stuff in FM. Done it quite a few times, and it never backfired on me. Sadly, you can't drop anything in FM any more. Also, there's droptaxes =[
