Lip Piercings and just facial piercings in general

Has anyone here got one/any? How long did it take for it to heal when you first got it? Good or bad experience getting it pierced, etc.

OMG LMFAOOO. This brings back the funniest memory possible. Me any my friend were doing a peircing, since we weren't about to pay some dude 50$ to do it, we stole a needle from dollarama, bought some mouthwash to sterilize it, and he bought a lip ring. When we were doing it, I couldn't stop laughing, and just about stabbed him in the wrong place. We ended up doing it, I expected blood to start gushing out, but a few drops at the most. We also had an extremely hard time getting the ring actually in. But it eventually worked. In the end, it looked professional. It didn't even get infected. ;D I guess it's just one of those, you had to be there moments. Go ahead and call us idiots for doing it. XD

I got my lip done like 8 months ago, it didn't hurt, and wasn't bad to take care of. It sorta throbbed in the way you would expect it to throb for about a week. I had to take mine out early cause my parents freaked out.

I have my labret pierced. It was uncomfortable for the first two days or so. After that it healed pretty quickly, took about 2-3 weeks to heal fully. 3 years on I still have it. I love it, didn't hurt much at the point of getting it either.

i only have 1 facial piercing D: i got my nose pierced. healed in like, 2 weeks o.o and my tongpiercing healed in 4-5days my industrial healed in 6weeks and my bellybutton healed in 3weeks and i also had a septum, which healed in like 6 days. but i took it off. and i might get a surface piercing :/ [addicted to piercings D; ]

I wanted a labret as well, to honor The Rev (drummer of avenged sevenfold who recently died), who had one. But, if they say it won't suit, chances are it won't. Anyways, I'm glad you still like your piercing

For example, I wandered around with various spikes, balls, decorations and rings through mine, at one point two rings through the same hole. There's no harm taking a photo of yourself and editing a ring or spike or stud onto your face to take a look before you get it done - I had my eyebrow done originally on a dare and it actually really suited me, despite what I'd previously thought.

I had my tongue pierced if that counts. Stung like a little mofo for days and I couldn't eat anything. It wasn't worth it imo. Good thing I took it off after a week or something.

Got my lip pierced in March. Basically it feels like getting shot in the lip for like, a millisecond when the needle pierced through, then another millisecond when the ring is pulled through. Those were the only 2 times it hurt for me. The place I went to gave a bag of sea-salt, which is mixed with warm water to rinse off the piercing. It healed by late April, because I had to go to the dentist, and I took it out, and I also had it out for 2 hours a night for 3 nights because I had to do a school play.
