Hey, I just put Windows 7 on my computer and I just downloaded Maple Story but now I can't play and it says "error code : -2147467259 (Unspecified error)" after the hackshield thing pops up. I have deleted my Nexon folded and downloaded it again but it still won't work. Can someone please help me resolve my problem. Thanks!

Update your graphics/Video card. If windows 7 recognises it as a 'standard vga display...' then you'll need to revert to the previous OS, or install a newer graphics/video card.

You just need to install the appropriate driver, instead of the basic VGA driver that Windows gives it.
tehkitzzz : 2147467259<-max mesos?
It's 2,147,483,647.
ilikemapleing : I don't know how to do that though...
You can do so by going to your computer manufacturer site and look up the model in the driver support area. Or you could Download/Install Everest >> Run it >> Go to Display >> GPU It should tell you your graphic card next to Video Adapter. Use that info to find your driver yourself.
NoTrueaTwo : Windows7 doesn't support some specific, old cards.
I'm aware of that (but in some cases you are able to used the XP/Vista drivers, and it might work as well. I know this for a fact as I helped 3 other person just recently that had an IGP back in the early 2000s which had no driver support for Win7). This can also happen with newer cards as well. When a person reformat and reinstall a new OS like the TS did, the dxdiag window (and the Device Manager) will come back as N/A or "Standard VGA Display Adapter" if you let Windows Update (which isn't really reliable in finding your drivers) install it for you.

That comment was really irritating... Unless you want to learn how to code your own driver, that was the simple solution. Plus, you didn't even install your driver after an OS install (which is require to do). Go to Start >> Type in: dxdiag >> Enter >> Click on the Display tab What does the Device Name say? And I'm assuming all of your Hardware Acceleration is disable?

it says "standard VGA graphics Adapter" and yes all my device accelerations are not available

Ok. -points at my first post- What's the Brand/Model of your computer? I would used that and find your drivers. It would be a bit of a nuisance, if the computer has two different driver for ATI and Nvidia though. I would much rather you get Everest and use it to find the exact graphic card you have.

Just do the Everest part, please. As that didn't help at all. When you do, it should look something like this: http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/8158/everesti.png Tell me the Video Adaptor

Try to delete Nexon folder, then turn off your computer for about 10 seconds, turn the computer back on, check in your nexon folder ( if it's still there) and check if there is anything in there or not. If there is still Maplestory in there, PM me, and if there isn't, download maplestory, make sure you have every part. Hope this helps!~
