PyPQ Medal Glitch?

I heard that the medal is supposed to have +1allstat and some other things, along with the +120HP/MP. I talked to Duarte about getting the right medal,but he said I have the right medal. I tried taking it off and talking to him, and keeping it on and talking to him, either way it didn't work. Just drop it and he'll give you another medal.

drop it, go in and kill a few monsters, fail it (don't exit), talk to duarte for the medal.

Thanks, ElevenMinor, and everyone else who suggeted some things, that worked. I dropped the medal, went inside and killed some things, failed it, and talked to him. He gave me the right medal. Thank you very much. :D
