Which is better? A lot of people I know in rl tell me that PS3 is better and more worth it. But people on basil etc say that XBOX360 is better. I don't get it, why is Xbox360 better? You have to pay for live and you get the Red Ring of Death more often then the YLOD. In what way is it better besides the few XBOX exclusive games like halo and gears of war. IMO, PS3 is more worth the price, with it's free online play, bluray player, it's the ultimate entertainment system :P

You decide, I made the choice to get ps3, I'm not saying it was a great choice, but I have no problems with the ps3.

You already have a Blu Ray probably and I know you have a computer, for gaming XBox is > PS3. Now lets say you don't have a computer or something maybe PS3 is better. PS3's online is worse than xbox. 4$ a month isn't much and Xbox has a regular DVD player plus zune,nextflix,facebook etc... Edit: Oh and I forgot, Xbox's controllers are much better the layout for it is much better and it actually weighs something so it doesn't feel so awkward to hold. The new movement system is also coming out soon and it's much better than the PS3's, you don't even need a controller. The only good thing about PS3 is Little Big Planet.

PS3 has more variety of worthwhile games cuz most good games on 360 are shooters, and as you said Blu-ray - its simply a better format even if you wont use it to play Blu-ray movies PS3 games are in Blu-ray, and also if your computer is decent enough to play games without lagging than theres not really much of a reason to get a 360 since a lot of 360 games have a PC version. and PSN vs XBL if you want extra features you can buy PSN or you can get it for free without the extra features but it still remains that more people are on XBL, really its your call - ive tried both and never had a problem with either - so for me id rather get free PSN idk bout you. oh; and controllers i can use both effectively which you like more is up to you, 360 controllers seem to be better suited for Shooting games cuz of the far reaching triggers which is nice and all being that most mentionable 360 games are shooters anyways.

Anyways, I do agree with you that xbox controllers are nice, but the ps3 dualshock controllers aren't light.

[/quote] well quite frankly the PS3 has always been and still is the better console cuz it still remains that PS3 has Blu-ray and Xbox 360 only has DVD which isnt quite as good, and im fairly sure PS3 still has a lower failure rate than the 360.

I rather buy a game then an over priced DVD. $50 for a Blu-Ray or $50 for a PS3 game. Hm... Hard choice. Lol. Sadly though, I used to be all "360 HAS MORE RPGS!" but lately I've bought more RPGs for my PS3. So.. :o
