No. Beats by Dr Dre are crap. Skullcandies are crap. What are you thinking? The best brand is Sennheiser, which sells great headphones at around $100. If you want "DJ style headphones" which is the type of headphones that Skullcandies make, http://www.audiocubes.com/product_info.php?products_id=1993 I have a pair. Very nice sound quality. About equal sound quality to the Bose quietcomfort 15.

^ Speak for yourself. I love my Beats by Dr Dre. Only complaint I have is that they leak. Like people can hear my music from like 3 feet away. But as above person said, go for Audio-Technica or Sennheiser. They're cheaper than Beats but the audio is practically the same quality.

But is it worth the price? Hell no. Your just paying for the name. Plus the bass is overpowering. Not that good for people that listen to Pop. Senheisser, AKG, AudioTechnica. Good brands. The Audiotechnica i listed has great audio quality, but it doesn't sound that great out of the box. You need to wear it out a bit, then it starts sounding great.

I have Beats and I love them. My friend has let me try his Sennheisers and they're great too. And yet, I'm here using the headphones that were closest to my computer. Curse you Apple D:< EDIT: Above I love overpowering bass :D
