I'm planning to buy an iPod Touch but I don't know which to choose. Is getting an additional 24 GB worth paying 110$(CAD) more?

8 or 32 gb right? Depends on what you're looking for, I got the 8 gb 2g instead of the 32 gb 3g because I'd also have to pay for speech functions and stuff, I just want to listen to some music, I won't download more than 1000 songs anyway. (apple site says you can have max 1750 on an 8 gb).

The 8GB is bigger than you think. I had wanted the 16, but I got the 8 as a surprise birthday present, lol. And I haven't filled it yet.

It depends on how what you want to use your iPod for. I have a 8GB one because I mainly use it for music, but say you wanted it for apps, movies, internet or a bit of everything- go for 16 or 32GB coz it's defientaely worth it. (Right now my iPod's about full capacity, it has 640ish songs, 20 TV episodes, alot of apps and I need more space T^T)

if you LOVE flash games, and you constantly play them, get an ipod touch. the only reason why you would get an ipod touch over any other mp3 player is for its apps. though i have to warn you, everyone i've seen get an ipod touch stopped playing the apps after a while. if you don't care about apps, or know you can live without them, you might want the zune hd. the zune has a small selection of apps, built in hd radio tuner, wifi, a very responsive touch screen that's nearly unscratchable , a very nice display, and some other stuff that i can't think of. the 16gb zune hd is around the same price as the 8gig ipod touch if you don't care about apps, you don't watch videos, don't care about wifi, then there are much cheaper alternatives for an mp3 player, such as the sansa clip the size of your mp3 player really depends on the amount of music and videos you have. say you want an ipod touch and you only have 400 songs and 4 videos, it would make no sense to get more than an 8 gig

Well I have 18GB of music and an 8GB iPod touch. So in between my favorite albums and apps, it's a tight squeeze. Go for the 32GB because it has the faster processor

8gb holds a lot, i have like 150 something songs and like 3 page of applications a few movies, and it isnt even halve way yet.

unless you have more than 8GB+ of music/videos you shouldn't get the 32GB. trust me, apps don't take up much space.

Ok Now it's a battle between 16GB Zuna HD and 8 GB iTouch. I don't know if more Apps make it better or not and I guess it would be nice to play games.

[/quote] I have a Zune HD. The Zune HD is a premium PMP (Portable Media Player) which currently has about 20 or so apps. I usually use my Zune HD for the music, video, and internet. The iPod Touch is good device as well, with a huge app selection, but you have to pay for them and a lot of them are useless. I'm happy with my Zune HD. But if you're looking for a mini game device, then you should probably go for the iPod Touch.
