I will stock up these http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.1320 torches over the summer and then buy some butane and fill them up. Then during the school year I would sell them 10 dollars each. I would be making roughly 6 dollar profit each one I sell then I be rich. But I don't like how u have to pay a fee for visa gift cards causethats how I would be buying these. I'm just sharing this just in case anyone else has nothing to do over the summer.

This is illegal. I'm highly sure of it. First off, this might be listed as not available for retail sale. Which means you can't buy it, then resell. Especially not in mass quantities. Second, selling a MASSIVE amount of lighters at school? Not even a college would allow that, since they are dangerous and could be used as weapons. Let alone a high school, which something tells me you're in high school. Which, if you are don't even think about bringing one of these on campus. Yet alone hundreds. Also, this plan has major potential to fail. 10 bucks a pop? Haha good luck finding a buyer. Yet alone a lot of them, I mean the 3 dollars was already a retail price(meaning they marked up the price based on the cost to produce), they probably only cost like 1 dollar to make. And you want to try to sell it for 10? The average consumer isn't that dumb. o_o

[/quote] And it's possible, and you'd be surprised it happens a lot. It just takes one kid to see you and turn you in. And you can argue they cant search you, but if someone reports you brought lighters/drugs to school they can search you. Or call the cops and have them search you. And if you don't know their coming, you wont have time to "ditch your stash." Also, just because you can "not get caught" doesn't mean its legal or a good thing to do.

I can't necessarily say this is true for high school kid's who have no bills to pay. But we are in one of the worst economic times since the great depression. Also, the said quote was used to show exactly how faulty this plan was. I agree, the average consumer is dumb. (Though, like I said in times like this they are trying harder.) But, they aren't THAT dumb.

Kids at my school would pay a lot for lethal things. They are selling crap quality used switchblades for 50 dollars and kids still buy them. Then there was this kid making homemade firecrackers sellling them 8 dollars each which is a big rip off. I would have a chance selling these. Ill just go buy 20 and try to sell it, if successful I would buy more
