Question to dexless,regdex,lowdex NL

This is a question to all you regdex,lowdex,dexless NL out there: What is your wep attack? That includes wep attack from shoes,gloves,belts,wep,capes,ect... The reason im asking this is because im trying to gather some data for a few calculations that im doing Just leave a comment with your total wep attack WITHOUT any buffs that add attack and what kind of NL you are (reg,low,dexless)

For something like this, I think it's important you ask for the NL's LUK with and without MW, level MW, attack pots that they usually use, funding, and the last date at which they upgraded their equips as well as the value of the equips when they bought them, and the current value of their equips. But whatever. Let's see... Claw = 69 Glove = 15 Stars = 27 BoF = 15 PAC = 3 Belt = 4 Ring = 3 MoN = 10 146 W.ATT. I ALWAYS use Ciders or Onyx Apples, so that would be 166 W.ATT / 246 W.ATT. I am NEVER do ANYTHING without Ciders at the minimum. Edit: Sorry, forgot to add that I'm lowdex build.

All I have right now is a perfect Scarab (scrolled with 30%s) with very mediocre equips waiting to be upgraded. Dexless with 140 (no buffs included). Should be 170-180 soon enough.

[/quote] lol normally you would be right.. however im studying the new damage formula from KMST that applies to all classes. I wanted an average wep attack for reg,dex,low so i can find out how much their damage differs in this new formula. things like luk,pot buff,equip stats and such are use less to me since luk/dex will be a controlled variable and ill be finding an average attack among the classes therefore again, making pots and such useless for my studdies. also the pots would just throw the range off :P

That's wrong, since dexless have the most LUK of all 3 builds, lowdex have the second highest, and regulars have crap amounts of LUK, so putting it down as a controlled variable would be wrong. A lowdex build would win in all cases if you use a controlled variable. On a side note, lowdex happens to get the highest increase in damage in the new KMST formulas. Regulars get the second highest increase, and dexless get the lowest increase in the new formulas... however, dexless will still be better than regulars. Anyway, LUK and DEX are NOT to be controlled variables for this kind of experiment. And for reference, the average attack is different dependent on fundings. Assumming all 3 classes have the same amounts of funding... Since lowdex and regulars use the same claws, they should have the same amount of attack. A dexless on the other hand uses a Skanda and on average will have 20 - 30 less attack than a lowdex / regular does. Edit: Also, this experiment is HIGHLY dependent on funding... and with such a small test group, you will NOT get accurate results. Take me and Danni for example. I am a lowdex build. Danni is dexless. The difference between a lowdex and a dexless is that the lowdex focuses on getting equips with high attack while also getting just the right amount of dex to wear them. A dexless forgets all dex needs and just focuses on getting the highest attack possible on their Skanda and other attack equips, while getting the rest of the equips for luck. Meaning that in general a dexless will have more LUK than a lowdex, and a lowdex will have more W.ATT than a dexless. This is not true in our case. Sadly, Danni has both more LUK AND more W.ATT (She has 34 more than me regardless of being dexless.)

[/quote] By controlled luk and dex i ment i would give them a set number of AP points like lets say i have like 300 AP points, i would distribute them the correct way for each corresponidng build. I just wanted data and i was going to average it myself. I know very well that lowdex are actually getting the biggest boost from this patch, however my friend and i were arguing about this so i decided that i would gather information and show him why his dexless would do less damge. Im doing average because my friend is stubborn and if i were to make the slightest unfair advantage to either side he would complain.

Autumn, you keep my sanity intact. OP, your sample group won't help your cause. See how many people posted in the thief damage ranges thread? Not even that thread depicts proper averages, nor would it if it were twice as big.

He is bipolar and has ADHD :P EDIT: even with an outliar in the data i should be somewhat in the ball park. i guess. not sure dont really feel like thinking about it now xD FunFur yea i know ive been in there and theyre not organized in any way other than by lvl. IMO its poorly organized and would not help anyone in any situation. Some dont even state weather or not theyre dexless/reg/low xP
