A short explanation about STR Dual blades

ok moments ago i believed it was impossible (or nearly impossible) to make a Str dual blade i am here to say i am happily wrong ATK 18, Effects: HP +150, 7 Slots, Faster Speed Requires DEX 40, LUK 70 Lv 20 These are the stats with the first blade as you can see there are no openings to add any ap to Str ATK 23, Effects: HP +175, 7 Slots, Faster Speed Requires DEX 60, LUK 100 Lv 30 These are the stats to the 2nd blade again NO OPENINGS ATK 28, Effects: HP +200, 7 Slots, Faster Speed Requires DEX 80, LUK 110 Lv 40 Now this is the 3rd blade i noticed something interesting about this one, You only need at sacrifice 30 ap to be able to use it meaning you can add the remaining 20 ap to your Str unfortunately this doesn't bring your Str high enough to cap your Str or anything YET ^_~ ATK 31, Effects: HP +225, 7 Slots, Faster Speed Requires DEX 90, LUK 150 Lv 50 Sadly for this blade u need the whole 50 ap BUT YOU GET YOUR Z-HELM & DEP you lucky dogs ^_~ adding another 20 to your Str congrats you now have 44 str ^_^ ATK 36, Effects: HP +250, 7 Slots, Faster Speed Requires DEX 100, LUK 170 Lv 60 OMG you only need to sacrifice 30 ap for this blade!...wait didn't we just get an ap boost from our Z-helm and dep? OMG i think we did! so we can potentially add 21 Str and with out Str at 65 <3 Hmmm doesn't that a reverse pesca only need 75 str? wow...only 10 more ap to go <3 So with us only needing 10 more str to cap. needing 10 more dex and 20 more Luk for our next blade...OMG does that mean were done? HURRAY! (and since it was done by me theres a good 90-99.99% chance i messed up ^_^) Minimum Damage = (3.6 * 0.9 * Mastery * LUK + STR + DEX / 100) * WA Maximum Damage = (3.6 * LUK + STR + DEX / 100) * WA ^^^^^^^^ Formula for Dual blade's attack accounting for BOTH the dagger and the Blade ^_^

this will all be fail if the damage formula for either blade or dagger doesn't involve any str

They have the same formula as a NL and Shad they gain power from str. Only difference is luk > str/dex so you're wasting points into STR for a dagger that's only 2 atk higher. 75 luk > 75 str + 2 atk

That's ridiculous -,- [/quote] you don't have to be uberfunded ^_^;; but a Z-helm and a dep star wouldn't be asking to much right? i'll expand it a little farther if u need me to but after lvl 60 your remaining daggers only need about 10 dex and 20 luk to use ^_^ so just use your imagination ^_^

.... yes, it would. I don't have 80m. I barely have 3m. That's freaking a lot of money. Edit: I don't even know if that's around the amount I'd need! This stuff is stupid expensive. -_-

I would love to do this as I personally think that Strength Daggers look way better than Luck Daggers then again it's all personal opinion.

Your logic fails OP. A STR Dual Blade will be considerably weaker. The only way they could " possibly " be on par with LUK, is if they got all their STR from equips. Its possible, seeing as you can maker a Blade with a bit of added STR, and alot of equips ca be makered with STR as well. The most sensible would be Shoes, Top (also can be scrolled), Bottom, Cape, Glove. But theres a caveat to this. Anyone could just maker for LUK and be even strong with comparable equips. Now with the Android set, it changes a bit. You get both stat bonuses as well as an attack boost from having more pieces. But alas, you will still be slightly weaker than normal builds.

Going Str on a DB based on looks of the dagger alone will get you weak and going str on a db isn't recommended but eh its your db.

DBs are meant to be lucky (get it...?) anyway, the STR daggers are for aesthetic appeal right? so if thats the case why are you getting a zhelm?

oneoftheabovepo sters Don't make a dual blader if you don't have enough funding. I mean, you can make one and have fun, but don't expect to be dishing out the same damage as other people.
