ok first off, no spamming about how maplestory dating is bad. i want educated answers please. second, please make sure to vote because i really want your opinions on this rather large problem... So leave your vote and maybe a SMART comment please. p.s. i think its fine, unless the person ends up being a dude....

Falling in love over the internet can happen. I honestly believe that it can. But I don't believe the relationships that happen on Maple are really worth anything. Smega'ing "L>GF/BF MUST HAVE NX" doesn't call for much of a relationship. I honestly don't see the point of it, except for gold digging.

i have fallen in love over the internet. not "BF/ GF" status, but i have friends i cherish and care for.. i mean if you have friends over the internet, dating someone isn't any more of a big deal!

Ive dated someone on maplestory and lets just say things turned out bad. After him i wasn't really sure i wanted to date anyone else on maplestory again. If you ever do, srsly do NOT give them any information about yourself like where you live and stupid things that should stay between you and someone you can be really close to. However i did meet someone on maplestory who took the time to be my friend. Now he is my bf and comes down to see me from time to time. Trust me internet relationships can be hard sometimes but they can happen just like me and my bf.

I think that people can fall in love on Maplestory, and I find it no different than a person in real life falling in love. But there are so many problems with MOST people who date on Maplestory. Some of them are just looking for some Nexon Cash, items, etc... And some of them are just looking for a pretty pixel character, and they will usually ditch them when they're bored with them. Then there is the issue of not actually 'knowing' who this person is, not even being sure if this person is telling the truth about their name, age, gender, etc.. But if you can honestly say that you love someone that you met on Maplestory, then I think you should be able to have a relationship with them. Sorry if my wording is bad, I get frazzled when I type long posts. >.<
