Should I max bless?

I made my cleric ages ago, pre zakum and pre 4th job where bless was pretty big since without Z. Helms and such warriors had a lot more accuracy troubles. Now, on my cleric, I'm wondering if I really need to max bless? Is it important these days when there are so many other ways to get your accuracy up? Or does it not even matter because you'll be nuking everything 4th job anyway?

It's useful to some people. You may come across people who expect you to Bless them. I don't see why not to max it, though. Unless you absolutely want both Holy Arrow and MP Eater.

Bless is good for the Acc for the higher level monsters you may or someone else may want to kill and the avoid which is good and helps save your life once in a while xD

I would definitely recommend maxing bless. I still cast this skill every time I'm in a party and it's useful for lower levels. If you don't max bless then you'd be left to maxing something like Holy arrow which is useless because of angel ray later.

It's been said, but... Bless > holy arrow. I know a few people who left holy arrow at 0 in favor of magic armour, for that whopping 2 defence over bless (haha) just yesterday, another bishop died at the archer boss in cwkpq when we were talking about the holy arrow vs magic armour debate. OT in many cases, people ask for bless eem if they don't need it. I still don't understand why I have to stop killing at skeles to go down and bless a partner because I "forgot" it when I was HSing them. So, yeah, max bless.

[/quote] So that means that you can't have Bless AND Magic Guard casted together?

In the Revamp, Bless will give a boost of weapon attack and magic attack, plus even more wep. def. and mag. def, acc. and avoid, so it's really a good choice to max this skill.
