Koc quest problem?

you remember the quest in the beginning of your CK life? the one were u get the cynical mushroom doll? Well thers a problem with mine. When i try to pick it up it says "Item file is corrupt, please reinstall the game" or something along the lines of that. anyone else having this problem?

i hear alot of people have this problem maybe try a reinstall/forfeit the quest

I just restarted ms and it worked fine. EDIT: This was today.
