so there's this guy buying scrolls and this happens: I'm not that stupid! yeah so he tried to remote hack me from me selling him scrolls from the gachapon machine. Basil watch out if anybody tells you to cc in a trade panel! Thanks for saving me from reading one of these threads! ^_^

remote hacking is patched. if anything, they already have your info and get you to CC so they can DC you, which leads to them logging on your account and hacking you.

Why would someone wast their time remote hacking you for a few scrolls when they could hack someone with godly equips instead? I don't think he's trying to remote hack you, or he's probably just playing around.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't going to remote hack you, but scam you for cheap scrolls. Reason he wanted to cc because there were like 3 or 4 people on the same chan according to the screeny and he would probably have to talk in all to make offers which means they would hear and if they were nice people and knew something about prices they would tell you it's a scam.

I wouldn't call someone out on being a remote hacker just because he asked you to change channels. However, I never cc upon request. You never know when it might be a remote hacker. There are arguments both ways about whether it really exists or not, but I'm not taking any chances. I often get "can you go to ch2, it's laggy here" while I'm buying things in the FM. Those people are probably legit, but it's not worth the risk.

Woah... I never knew about this. Well I think you guys are just paranoid. Lol I tell people to change channel all the time because theres to many people in channel 1 FM. How easy is it to obtain this remote hacking software? Cus i'm never gonna cc again. O___O
