Faming a Basiler?

I cruised through the site to find some explanation on what it means to Fame a Basiler, but I haven't really found a clearcut answer. I know it's not literally faming their inGameCharacter. So, what is it and how is the medal acquired?

As I remember, you fame a basiler in the game and post a pic showing that you famed him/her.

Yes, you submit to screenies, but under the category of "Faming" or something along the lined of that. Mr Basil will see your pic, give you a medal and not accept the picture to be posted to Basil.

Steps for Fame a Basiler medals: - Fame a Basiler in-game and take a screen shot of you doing it. - Submit the screen through the submit screen function and select "Fame" out of the list provided. - In the info box for your Fame screen, you must provide the Basil ID of the Basiler you famed in the screen shot. - Wait until the screen is accepted, you will be notified if it did get accepted and it will count towards your medals. - These screen shots were displayed regularly at first but Mr. B had that function removed so it no longer displays for public view. - Fame more Basilers to receive the other medals following the first one. That's basically the just of it. =P

@ Thread starter You didn't thoroughly check for how to acquire the fame medal. If you did thoroughly check, you wouldn't have reached the wrongful conclusion of "I know it's not literally faming their inGameCharacter". You can't fame different characters under the same BasilID to count multiple times towards the medal. The character you are faming has to be listed under the BasilID. The character you are faming with should be listed under your BasilID. The screenshot should clearly show the text where it states you faming the character. To submite a screenshot: Maplestory tab -> Add -> Screen or click on the link provided on the medals page. You can only submit one screen at a time, so you have to wait for your previous screen to be accepted or denied before you can submit another screen. You can have multiple screens accepted in a short period of time if certain requirements are satisfied. It is easier to acquire this medal if you fame the users you are making trades with, which helps in getting two medals at the same time. The title of your screen should be "Faming "BasilID"", replace "BasilID" with the user's name. Make sure your screenshot meets the requirement for screens. To take a screenshot, it would be best to use a screen capturing program, like Fraps. To get Fraps: http://www.fraps.com/download.php To adjust the screenshot to meet the size requirement: Open the screenshot with Paint program, the default program that comes with all(most?) systems. Without doing anything to the screenshot, "save as" a jpeg/jpg format and place the new image in a location that you can easily access(desktop is easiest). Use this Paint image for the screen you submit on Basil.
