What skill should I max?

I'm on my 5th mastery but I'm not sure which skill I should max. Should I max Flare or Magic Shield. I plan on reaching around 120 and stopping if that helps decide which skill I should max.

1 in Magic Shield if you want flashy Or Max Flare first.

Magic Flare first. Magic shield is probably one of the most useless skills. It only last for 20 seconds, has a 40 second cooldown, and only absorbs 30% of damage. Definitely Magic Flare because it attacks beastly. I hit 10k at Level 63.

Don't you max both anyway? But definitely flare first. And 1 optional magic shield to show off.

Always flare.

Flare first, magic shield is pretty useless. But you will have enough skillpoints to max all the skills on every growth stage, if you do all the quests.

Magic Flare first, definitely. It will be one of your most used skills and it has awesome damage. I could only see shield useful if a monster is hitting 10k damage or something, and even then the shield only lasts 20 seconds. And as everyone else said, you'll be maxing both anyways. (as long as you do the Evan quests)

magic shield has menny uses lvl 75+ takeing 30% less dmg while you group up blue kents can save tons on pots and 3 evans in a party vs a boss is just unreal.if you you use shield alternating but flare is the best choice for your 1st skill to max.

Flare is what you would want first. IMO Magic Shield is kinda useless until 6th growth, but that's just me. (Depending on where you train at.)

Maybe 1 point on Shield for showing off. Then Flare. Then Max Shield.
