places to eat in nyc

i'm going to new york tomorrow, and i was wondering if anyone has suggestions on places to eat there. specifically around columbia university (morningside heights) and/or nyu (washington square). i've heard that john's pizzeria and the pizza box on bleecker street and joe's pizza on carmine street are pretty good, any thoughts/opinions? oh and the places don't necessarily have to be pizzerias; i've just always wanted to try "new york pizza". thanks in advance.

Rays Pizza is one of the best pizza places I've been to. Should be somewhere near 84th and Columbus cuz that's where my old school used to be.

Go to "Juniors". It has the best cheesecake you will ever eat in your life. Also the portions are big enough for 2 people. Their sandwiches literally each around around 2 pounds of meat in them.

like anywhere. everywhere is so good okay there's this little hole in the wall diner called olympian's diner i think. it's right in the middle of time's square. gr8 for breakfast and a huge plate of food is like 3 bucks there's an AMAZING restaurant called serendipity 3 but you have to get a reservation or else you'll be waiting literally 5 hours. just find things that are zagat rated. there'll be a little sticker on the door that says ZAGAT. stay away from delis, they're such a rip off lols
