Introduction Well I remember a couple weeks ago reading about max dagger mastery + double stab being 15% stronger than maxing savage blow. So I'm here to take it down to the dot. I'm gonna compare steal too. Percentage of attacks Lv36: -Lv19 dagger mastery + double stab 224% per attack. -Lv19 Savage Blow 209% per attack. -Lv18 Savage Blow, one mastery 212.75% per attack. -19 on Steal 160.05% per attack. -18 on Steal, 1 on mastery 162.15% per attack. Maxing dagger mastery first is 11.25% stronger than savage blow. With 1 point on mastery, savage blow is 49.5% stronger than steal. Without any points on mastery, savage blow is 38.95% stronger than steal. Lv40: -Lv19 Mastery, 12 on Savage Blow 248% per attack. -Max Savage Blow, 1 Mastery. 276% per attack. -Max steal, 1 mastery. 299% per attack. 74.25% per monster. -Lv19 Mastery, 12 on steal 228% of your max damage. Maxing Savage Blow is 18% stronger than maxing dagger mastery. Steal is 23% stronger than savage blow. <--- Before taking this in to consideration as to what you max, remember steal stuns, and can be used with any weapon. While maxing steal second and dagger mastery first, this is only 4% stronger than mastery + double stab. Lv46 Max Savage Blow and Mastery 4.80 x .80 = 3.84 or 384% per attack. Max Steal and Mastery 416% per attack. (Four) 312% per attack. (Three) Steal is 32% stronger against four monsters, and 62% weaker against three. Math to prove the above At level 36, if you have used all your points you will have maxed dagger mastery. At level 40 you will have used all your points to max savage blow/steal and have 1 left over. We're going to calculate many things at level 40 and 36. At level 10 savage blow is 8% stronger than double stab. Percentages used Since without any points on dagger mastery you have 10% mastery, the average normal hit is 55% of your max damage. (.10+1.00)/2 = .55 Level 1 mastery has 15% mastery, the average normal hit is 57.5% of your max damage. (.15+1.00)/2 = .575 or 57.5% With Lv19 mastery you have 60%, the average normal hit is 80% of your max damage. (.60+1.00)/2 = .80 Savage Blow at level 12 does 62% five times, or 310% of your max damage. .62 x 5 = 3.10 Savage Blow at level 18 does 74% five times, or 370% of your max damage. .74 x 5 = 3.70 Savage Blow at level 19 does 76% five times, or 380% of your max damage. .76 x 5 = 3.80 Savage Blow at level 30 does 80% six times, or 480% of your max damage. .80 x 6 = 4.80 Steal at level 12 does 76% to three monsters, or 228% of your max damage. .76% x 3 Steal at level 18 does 94% to three monsters, or 282% of your max damage. .94 x 3 = 2.82 Steal at level 19 does 97% to three monsters, or 291% of your max damage. .94 x 3 = 2.91 Steal at level 30 does 130% to four monsters, or 520% of your max damage. 1.30 x 4 = 5.20 Level 36 Lv19 mastery, double stab. .80 x 2.80 = 2.24 or 224% per attack. 19 on Savage Blow 3.80 x .55 = 2.09 or 209% per attack. 18 on Savage Blow, 1 on mastery 3.70 x .575 = 2.1275 or 212.75% per at

Wow I've only been saying this for like a year. If you max mastery you'll be better than maxing SB below 37, and if you max SB you'll be stronger 37 and up (until they equalize). If you ever happen to meet Mejust he has another build that maximizes damage in a different way. But yeah...this was a big topic a little over a year ago. I still don't think steal is worth maxing early, because you'll just be weaker unless the specific conditions are met (must be 21+, have to hit 4 monsters each time) and you'll be stuck using double stab as your main 1v1 until like lvl 50 or higher. It may be useful for pyramid pq but I can't really speak for that (I prefer normal training, pyramid pq is very limited to me). But it always come down to this: these levels should go by fast, so a perfect build doesn't really matter

Forgive me for mixing up my words lol. Second job skills aren't worth excessive calculations cause I mean, it isn't worth it when you're only going to be that level for a week or two. And when you think about it, differences in funding or training locations are far more important at that low of level
