I don't get dual blade

i can see that a dual blade uses a dagger and a blade. So can they use a shield?

Well yeah they can use common shields, but why would you do that? The majority of their skills require a dagger AND blade in hand. Plus, with a blade on it replaces the shield on the shield slot, so they technically can, but can't. Sorry if it's still kind of confusing xD

They cannot use shields

They do not have the slot for shields because the shield slot is replaced with a blade slot, therefor, they cannot equip shields.

yes, dual blades get a skill in 3rd job called Third Arm. with this they can successfully carry one blade, one dagger AND one shield :D hope this helped

I am sure they could use a shield, but most of their skills would not be able to be used with a shield equipped. Kobekun, one slot can hold more than one type of equip. Think overall vs top/bottom. It should be the same with dual bladers, and common and thief shields.

The shield comes out of an arm, which comes out from the middle of the chest. This way, they can use Triple Blow+ Extra Blow from the Shield that's coming out of my chest. Just Kidding, Dbs cannot use shields, but it's not like they need shields.
