Steal for bandits after balance patch?

ok so im currently a level 39 bandit and was wondering wether i should add into steal so i could do some PyPQ, i currently have 27 SB and 1 mastery what should i get steal up too?

Steal should still probably be the last skills you add points into. Sure, it's semi-useful for luring/stunning/mobbing, but it's not a great damage dealer and is really only useful when you have a bunch of sp dumped into it. If you're getting it only for pypq, it might work to add some now, but you'll be behind on the other skills if you decide to actually train normally.

nah dont, its not worth it unless u really badly wana pypq i would get mastry ASAP since its very important to have with SB after that u could max steal or haste, i would go for haste but its really ur choice

why do dits go sb first? with mastery, you'll do so much stable and better damage

[quote] davidktlee : why do dits go sb first? with mastery, you'll do so much stable and better damage [/quote] I remember some calculations done by a Basiler suggesting a build of going with Mastery first then SB gives the most out of damage, but I would think it has to do with "getting a new skill." Double Stab isn't that fancy, and when I got to 2nd job, I expected something fresh off the bat. But it's nothing complicated or horrible. At those levels, it doesn't exactly matter a great deal or offer a huge difference in DPS. As they say, "whatever floats your boat." --- Edit: Oh, @TS, I would think Mastery + Steal is best, seeing as it mobs. Don't know the details revolving around damage, but if you're able to PyPQ, I would jump that.

Steal would be good because you can level faster now in Netty's. Dits didn't have a mob skill until steal so spend some extra points into it by taking away from Endure. Endure is rendered useless if you can fund some extra pots!
