old skills getting revamped

well i hav a small question for anyone to answer on basil. It's: Well during the revamp's of kmst and ive been doing a little bit of reading and i can't seem to find a straight answer as to how the new skills are revamped. Now i know you all will say just click basilmarket icon and click the revamp thread but thats not my question. My question is if all the skills max level are being reduced, what happens if u hav a skill at 20 but they reduce it to 10? Do u get 10 points back for a new skill they newly add onto ur job?

The revamp will not happen tmrw or next week, or even in a month. So why bother asking these questions? It will be a min of a half a year to one year before we get it so worry when its like one month before the patch.

No one knows. Its only in KMS Tespia which is a test server. Its not even out on normal KMS yet.

[/quote] well it doesnt hurt to be curious besides if it does happen in what u say a year or somthing then id rather not waste my time on a charcter that would be weaker than another char 50 lvls under it because i DONT get refunded skill points

Maybe you will get bored or end up quitting maple? Besides I am sure if something that drastic does happen you will get refunded sps points. I don't think nexon is that stingy.

You should be basing what character you play on how much you like it. If ur going for damage and such only than you probably wont even play that character by the time the patch comes. You will be bored by than. Points should definetly be given back for lost skills and changed skills. It would be unfair otherwise. They cant really just take away skills and take the points along with it. That would leave a lot of people shafted.

If you had a skill maxed at level 20 and the skill is reduced to level 10, you get the 10 points refunded to you to spend elsewhere. Apparently (for example), MP Eater's max level is being dropped to an astounding lv 5! With the 15-25 points you get back, you can put points into magic mastery (a new skill in 2nd job for mages).
