Is fame importent

so everyone i have a qeuestion i was wondering if fame is necessary to excell in the maple world for example do you need it to finish quests that are important i know oyu need fame to finish zakum quest or anything because right now i am level 90 and have - 85 fame but i want t know if it will be bad when i am higher leve so to recap do i need fame to excell in the mapl eworld for exampl edo you need it to finish quests that are importent for example do you needfame to finish zakum quest or anything because i am level 90 and have - 85 fame. thank you everyone i love you all you are the best EDlT i read my post again and realized wording made it kind of hard to understand so i will explain easy wording again my question is do i need high fame to finish any important quest like zakm pre quest or horntail quest or anything or are the noob only quests that require fame but wont affect me because i am awesome and can do zakum with low fame thank you everyone

You need fame to equip certain equips (Dark Crusader as an ex.) &BTW:How did you manage to get to -85 fame ._.

It just makes you look cool/pro when they click on you and they see that you have a lot of fames .

Only a few equips require fame, and they aren't that important. In fact, I recall the Starlights (level 30-40 or something mage overalls) used to have a fame requirement but I noticed it was missing recently. Anyway, fame really isn't important at all. Edit: After reading what was said above, yes you need lots of fame. You had better doggedly pursue increasing your fame.

Fame is to equip certain equips (mostly the dark/black armour) and to complete some quests. There's also a medal you can get by getting 1,000 fame.

you really only need 20 fame.... 20 is the requirement to wear the Dark clothing for every class.. so yeah

You get the celebrity medal if you can get 1000 in a month. That's about it, other than that you just need like 50 for z-helm, i think.
