Windows 7 and Maple Story

So with all the solutions given by basilers i still can't open my maple story on windows 7. on the comp of my brother who has windows xp it works fine. So I was wondering if it was windows 7 the problem. Who has windows 7 and maple won't open?

I'm running windows 7 and it works fine for me. What happens when you try to open the game?

And maple works fine? Edit: It just doesn't do nothing after i open from website or launcher i patched good then I redownloaded and still it doesn't work im pissed.

I run on Windows 7 also and what you have to do is when the black screen comes up after clicking "Game Start" on the homepage, wait a little bit, it could be more than a min or two. Just be patient.

this isnt working for me. i am on windows 7. when i log in from the website and click "start game", nothing happens. when i start the gamelauncher, i click start game but nothing happens

Maple works fine on my computer, and I'm running on Windows 7 O_o What happens when you try to run Maple?

nothing pops up? because when I start the game from the site, I get a pop up asking to allow maplestory to make changes to the computer. I click yes. Then a thing pops up about there is known issues with the game and my OS, I click run anyways or something along those lines (paraphrasing here, my memory sucks) and it opens. edit: is this after the patch? because when I pressed start game before I downloaded the patch, nothing happened. I went to here (Official Site) and scrolled down and clicked the manual patch, like the notice on the front page of the website tells me to. The patch froze half way through, so I just opened the task manager, went into processes and ended all the processes that had "maple" in them, and restarted the patch again.

Right click maple>compatibility>run as admin & vista mode? There's a guide for MS on W7, JFGI

It just don't do anything after the little blue thing beside the cursor. After clicking i just left my comp and it never opened...

This is what you do. On maplestory the icon on the start. 1. right click, properties. 2. go to compatibility. it should have a compatibility thing choose windows vista only not service or anything else. then check the priveleges button at the bottom.3. press apply then press ok. It should now work.

I get a pop-up asking to allow changes. Then nothing else appears... I opened the Task Manager while doing this, and I see that maplestory.exe appears and disappears in a nanosecond. I first tried manual patching since I had v.86. Then I re-downloaded the entire client - IT'S STILL NOT WORKING. I'm a very sad right now... help?

Mine doesnt work on Windows 7, I download the manual patcher and always stops at Appliying. Anyone know how to fix this?
