Holy Arrow should have a probability of blinding. If that was the case, it wouldn't be so worthless compared to magic claw, new bolt, and Angel Ray. Of course if it's being completely taken away, then nevermind.

Or just make it the same functionality as Fire Arrow + minor boost. I would be satisfied.

It'd be cool if it mobbed like Fire Arrow.

Meh, if it blinded, it would feel like the power of light debuffing enemies. If it worked on bosses, it would even be a decent credit to the team. That's just my opinion, though.

[/quote] What do you mean by "blinding"? Like lowering the monster's accuracy? If that worked on bosses, it'd be way too overpowered.

Lower the monsters accuracy but not by a lot.

hm, if it's a 20% drop like threaten, it might not be that bad. Blind on monsters is never as severe as it is on us.

One of the worst things to happen would be for HA to become useful. It isn't hard to train from 30-70 with heal, and no HA means you can max every other skill. As soon as you make maxing HA appealing, people start having to miss out on other good skills.

One thing is to consider is that after the overhaul patch, bless will not be nearly as effective as Iron Will defense-wise. As for accuracy and avoidability, I'm not sure what contests it.. maybe an archer's focus ability?

Old builds don't become obsolete. Rather, builds that included HA could now become viable. For those in 4th job or Priests with a decent level of SR, HA won't be a big concern. Even still, as you said, Heal is still a very effective leveling option. What's the point of having skills which have no use whatsoever, like the old Magic Armor? There will be more choice, variety and that's a good thing isn't it?
