Not sure if anyone knew this or if has been covered, but everyone who had a problem with WonderKing being quite similar to Maplestory can rest knowing there's a reason behind it. Wikepedia: It was announced by Nexon on May 4, 2010, that they had acquired NDOORS.[citation needed] The amount that Nexon paid for 67% of Ndoors' equity was undisclosed, but is speculated to be close to 200 billion Won (US$ 153.9 million), which was the original 'wish-price' from Ndoors. From this acquisition, Nexon will take over IPs of Goonzu Online, Atlantica, Corum Online, two upcoming MMORPG titles, as well as publishing rights of Perfect World's Battle of the Immortals in Korea. Not sure if WonderKing is included in this list, but it is part of ndoors.

this is old news. yeah its been covered but so far nexon has no plans to end wonderking, why would they when they could make money from both, they now own their biggest compeitition.

Yeah I stopped playing wonderking when they introduced all these new cash shop boxes. The only thing good about it is they have full stat and skill resets, unlike maplestory, where you buy it one by one.

Most big competitors (in all areas--appliances, clothing, food, batteries) are actually owned by the same big company. You'd be amazed. Just like Coca Cola actually owns most types of soda pop.

[/quote] I'm getting nitpicky here, but most sodas are actually owned by one of three companies: Coca-cola, Pepsi, and the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group. But yeah, buyouts like this are common. You probably won't see much change in Wonderking.
