| From the guild who brought you HeneHoe Expedition: The Study of the Hoe comes the second study of the complex network known as the Maplestory society: Noob Expedition - The Study Of The Noobs. What do you think of when you hear the word 'Noob'? Do you hear it for its denotative meaning? Or rather, do you see it as what society portrays it as? I believe we can all agree on the latter. Noobs are what make up Maplestory's "lower class". I think it's safe to say we look down on them. However, noobs have a life that none of us were ever aware of. That is why we, here in the NinjaGiraffe guild, dug deep into the thoughts, actions, and habits of these fine creatures. Here is what we found: Noobs are illiterate . We interviewed a noob by the name of Jono454. He looked rather perplexed in the center of Kerning City, spamming "Some can help me plz@@ etc.". We were quickly intrigued and started questioning him. He seemed reluctant to divulge to us what his problem was.It was revealed that he was just a very slow typer. After a long pause, he gave us an answer. It seemed as though he wanted "pro-er stuffs" as he mentioned. He was specifically referring to our equips. Mr. Jono454 proceeded to tell us "i need stars... look at you your rich and you got good itiems. i want to be liek that.". We questioned him further to try to find out what he wanted especially. He answered "i want tat bralog helmet that you got. that lv 50 one.". We were wearing Zakum Helmets. In another part of town, we came across hamstermon . He was a very nice noob. Pretty decent with grammar too. Until he made a quick comment about my eyes. He said, "you got acian eyes". This was followed by a short round of laughter on our behalf. Noobs lie. Soon after, we traveled to the epicenter of beginners, Lith Harbor. We ran into a noob by the name of ENOTSOL . If you couldn't tell, it was 'Lost One' spelled backwards. After bombarding him with a barrage of questions, Mr. ENOTSOL mentioned his "lvl 95 archer.". We had our doubts he was a noob at all. That is, until we asked for the ign of this archer. He stridently answered, "cant remember". Yes, it was an obvious lie. We then asked how many mesos he possessed. He answered , "9000". I quickly gave him a nice remark, "Wow, that's alot." so that i did not hurt his pride. When we ran into 2Owen4You in Kerning, he traded one of our guildies asking if she wanted to buy any of his variety of items . She politely said no and canceled. He proceeded to f7 and call her a "cheap-o". Noobs are weird. We would never have expected noobs could be related to HeneHoes. During our studies, we came across something very peculiar. Every noob, after a greeting would always F2. Could this possibly be the noobs equivalent of the HeneHoes infamous F6? Very odd. There is another trait shared among noobs: They enjoy very dull and random nx styles that would make a HeneHoe cry. They usually look like this . Further studies suggest that noobs tend to call other newbies "noobs |
