Hey all! Recently the Adventurer Event just came out with the level 30 'Adventurer Rings'. Are these rings Permanent? I'm not sure. Forgive me if I've mis-interpreted information already given out. However. I have never really played anything other than Cleric, I'm not a hardcore player, but wanting to start again on a totally new class. I've got a few choices in mind... Pirate - Gunslinger Need a Maple Gun - Be going STRless if I play Gunslinger. Unless someone can convince me that EQP's for High-Level Pirates aren't too difficult to acquire. Thief - Assassin Need stars... Unless someone is willing to help me with this I wouldn't REALLY consider it. Don't want to spend ages in FM buying Stars. May go DEXless. Unsure. Bowman - Hunter Arrow Bomb looks pretty fun at 30 - Maple Bow Need help deciding. Please post any pros/cons for certain classes that you may seem fit. Thanks a bunch!

The rings are permanent, unfortunately they can only be traded through the account once . As for a class to choose, how about choosing a class you have never been before? It's always nice trying new things.

ABSOLUTY NO POINT to be STRless Gunslinger... Go either Low-str or normal-str. I recommend Low-str if you have a few hundred mills of funding. Forget str-less. Seach around and you will find people who can explain why. TADA COPY FTW <3 : Regular STR? Low STR? STRless? Okay, now this is a topic argued not only in this job but in several others as well. A regular STR would be having the STR at the same level as your current Level. Low STR would be having a lower number then your Level but still having a good amount in it. STRless would be having exactly 4 STR in the stat. Regular STR: This stat build was followed by the early Gunslingers and Outlaws, due to the fact that pirate items were scarce. This build is by no means weak, but it really serves those who are unfunded. For Regular STR's you would normally go 8 Levels raising DEX then the next 2 levels raising STR by 10. (Example : I'm level 40 with 40 STR. I raise DEX until level 48 then I pump STR to come in par for my level 50 Gun) Regular STR's may have lower damage and such, but they would not have to struggle gathering STR equps and etc. So this build is what I recommend for the more unfunded. Low-STR This stat build is one that is convenient for the "Middle-Funded" people. Low STR would be about 30-40 STR lower then what your STR is supposed to be. (Example : I am Level 100 and I have 60 Base STR. My equips add up to STR +40, thus allowing me to wear my Level 100 Gun) Normally what I recommend is to go Normal STR until you have the correct equips. Then just stop adding STR and pump DEX. I HIGHLY recommend having a Zhelm for this Stat build as it already gives you 15 STR (Avg). Then, a nice Pirate Overall could aid you. Since Pirate Overalls Add a lot of STR, scrolling one for DEX with support you in both directions. As for shoes, I still suggest some good STR Pirate shoes to boost your STR even more. A STR cape and a Good Pendant is all you really need. I'm guessing that a Low-STR Outlaw will need to have around 200m in order to succeed into high ranks. STR-Less This stat build usually resides no point. Many Outlaws will argue that it is pointless to have STR under 50. Read the Quote below. Other Opinions on Low-STR/STR-less MrSinDeath19: I was thinking about this last night, and i realized, there is ABSOLUTELY ZERO POINT in being Str-Less OR Low-Str. Let me explain. The lv 110 Gun requires 110 Str, correct? And by that lv, all Outlaws SHOULD have a Zak Helm and a MoN (+20 Str/Dex Total). So that means, they require an extra 90 Str to equipt the lv 110 gun. Now, i noticed MOST gunslingers cap their str around 40 or 60, requiring them to add 50 or 30 str from equipts. But lets think about this for a second.. What is the difference between Str Equipts and Dex ones? You can buy a 20 Str overall for the price of a 25+Dex overall. The same idea goes with buying a Str Cape. So logically, all gun-users should have 90 Base Str by 110. But then some people complain saying: Well what if i Chaos Scro

@AlterSnipe Thanks! @Attributes I've never played anything except Cleric ;P @Sigurd12 Thanks a bunch! Considering to be Normal-Strength Gunslinger as I'm not totally willing to fund that much for a character. Only have 75M, no ideas on what to spend it on.

[/quote] I would recommend you to go Low-str, but with a pretty high str Get a zhelm and a good scrolled gun at level 64/70. MoN at level 110 if you get that far. Other equips doesn't really matter at early levels. Do quests, (Remember the quest guide here at basil) and WHOP 100m more. Get a PAC, even though they are expencive now. Maker shoes, which are much cheaper than Facestompers. Maker overall too if you want. Don't bother with Dep star, you will get one at level 80. |
