Right, so I started a lvl 1 char just after the recent patch. After spending a ton of time on it getting it to 50, it seems I need to get another 30 levels...Wtf? I made this char after the patch, and it wont give me my ring at lvl 50...It says I need to get 30 more lvls to 80...Nexoned

I think the quest starts at lvl 50.

Did you do all of the quests? Thats how you end up getting the items.

No, you can get the ring if you start from lvl 1-50.

A ton of time = 2 days? '=.= OT: You need to make the char after the patch. Then, you do the lvl 10, 20, 30, 40 AND 50 quest to get the ring. If not, you don't get it

Did you start the quest at lvl 8? its called something like "New Hero ____"

Like other people said, you probably didn't start the quest at level 8 or make sure you completed and started each quest in the chain (get @ 8, 1st reward @ 10, then rewards @ 20,30,40, and finally ring at 50). f-f-f-f-f-fail. sorry to hear about it though.
