Archmage summons switched?

According to the kmst 1.2.318 extractions, among the skill changes i/l archmages were shown with elquines while f/p archmages had ifrit. At first, someone pointed out that this was merely a mistake during extraction but the changes were shown to be accurate from the jobIDs. Can anyone else verify these changes from kmst?

well.. lets just say a f/p was fighting a fire type monster.. oh snaps, you got a huge chunk of ice to smash it away. if your a ice/light fighitng ice, oh snap, you got a chunk of molten rock to blast it away

i wud say mages train in places suited to their element would u say not? so weak against ice strong against fire...ur summons will do minimal dmg wont they? im unsure about this though ^^"

Also the I/L summon (fire) ... it looks cool and I can trick people I am a Blaze Wiz. other than that... fire is kind of weak to I/L mage but it really good at farming mesos at leps. :D

ifrit is usles except for ading dpm in bossing (slight dpm in traning) while fp get elinques who frezes stuf if we got a poision demon id a better balacne. but meh fp will be angry that they lose thier freeze (even tho they chose the class so they could poison and burn stuf) and l.i will just say meh atlest i got the demon that looks right now.

The reason the two Arch Mages have "switched" summons is because of the quests you have to do to get them. It's part of a story.

I/L are suppose to get Ifrit because in the storyline, they try to expand their magic powers to other elements. And vice versa for F/p.

[/quote] and what is the acual point of that they will just swich the quest to expanding your elamental prowis in your chosen feild. i still dont see the actual point (besides because the story tells you to) that ice mages get a fire sumon.

[/quote] Because using Fire Demon as an F/P Mage lowers the enemies resistance to ice. Therefore, Elequines does additional damage. Same goes for I/Ls and Ice Demon/Ifrit.

[/quote] in the story, the old guy says we alrdy maxxed our prowess in our elements, thus to obtain more power, we learn other elements or something like that xD

[/quote] still dont c the point. they will probly remove that efect from fire demon if they swap them infact they will probly add the ice demon efect of making monsters week to fire happy days fp = more dmg from YOUR main eliments.
