Hey guyz, ITT you can ask questions you've always wondered and we (basil) will try to answer them all :D Answers with an * mean that the person who answered wasn't really sure about it and it's probably his/ her opinion. [/quote] Because the sun is not one of the hottest stars. It's hot compared to most things on Earth, but is only about average for a star. Only the very hottest stars appear blue.

[/quote] cause there are some stars 1000x bigger than the sun that burn alot hotter than it, the suns temp isn't high enough to burn blue
