So yesterday I stopped at Japan but for only for about 10 hours. I wanted to stay longer but it was too late . I managed to get these though: Gintama Cards Gintama Poster/Keychain the Takasugi poster was chosen random from this pack. you can see the others here . and the Takasugi keychain was from a Gachapon. you can see the others here . I didn't mind since I like all the Gintama characters :P anyway, my dad said the next time we stop at Japan we'll stay for at least 3 days. So I'm starting to plan ahead on where I should go. The number 1 place I want to visit is Akihabara aka "Electric Town" known for it's electronics/gadgets. It's also the center of Japan's otaku subculture of manga/anime lovers :3 • Tokyo Anime Center • Yodobashi Camera Akiba • Mandarake Complex • GEE!STORE AKIBA • Kaiyodo Hobby Lobby Tokyo My sister wants to visit Tokyo Tower Any suggestions on where I should go in Japan?

What kind of stuff are you interested in seeing though? More electronic stuff? I really want to visit "Shinyokohama Ramen Museum" sometime. It's like a history of Ramen, and you get to sample all these different types :P. It's in Yokohama I think. Also if you've got time, I think Sapporo hosts an annual Ice Sculpture Festival or something. :D

Well assuming you mean around Tokyo then, like you said Akiba for sure and I would also suggest Odaiba cos the view of the Rainbow Bridge is quite nice. Plus there's also a really big ferris wheel around there and also a pretty interesting gaming/entertainment center (can't recall what it was called though ^^"). Edit: Pancakes030 ~ I didn't see any dancing monkeys when I went =( lucky you~!

Yeah my sister wants to visit Tokyo Tower mainly I guess I want to buy/see products exclusive to Japan (even though they are expensive :/). Electronic and game/anime related mostly. I also want to try different ramen. I want to see the difference from it and cup noodles :p yeah I want to see some arcades too. I went to C pcom Plaza and they had so many nice games :3. Super Street Figher IV, Mario Kart, Mario Party, those claw machines with anime related prizes :3

There are so many things to name, but if you're in Tokyo, for sure go to Odaiba. I'll just list some of the stuff they have in Odaiba: Decks Tokyo Beach/Aqua City - shopping centre Palette Town: huge place, ferris wheel, Toyota exhibition hall, Venus Fort(Venice themed shopping place) Miraikan: science and technology museum If you go to Osaka: Nanba Parks: shopping centres, restaurant, nice view Umeda: Umeda Sky Building, you go up really high, something like 173m. Yodobashi Camera there has a Shonen Jump store too I think. All of this is going by memory, I went there in November last year.

[/quote] I went there last year and the room I stayed in was for sure larger than a bathtub :P While probably smaller than some of the hotel rooms I'm used to, it's still fine. Capsule hotels don't count btw |
