Need Help With Mushroom Kingdom Guardian Medal

So I just finished all of the quests for the Mushroom Kingdom, including the scroll quest. However once I talk back to the King of the kingdom, I don't receive my medal Anyone know why? I was level 34 when I talked to him, I leveled to 35 just to make sure, and talked to him again and still nothing. Maybe I have to do that scroll quest over again since I just recently leveled to 35? And another thing I found odd was... It said I didn't start the quest "The Recovered Golden Seal". However, I obviously did start AND finish it because I was able to finish the scroll quest AND there's no quest symbol above that certain NPC. So if you guys can please help me with my little delema, I'd really appreciate it... I was longing for this medal for such a long time. Thanks so much!

gold seal? you need to kill prime minister who drops it... and you have to clean out the tower thing in area 3

Is the medal something new..? I did the Mushroom Castle quest chain when it first came out, and the big reward at the end was the Mushking gloves and the chance to do the repeatable (and pretty useless) King Pepe scroll quest. I got the gloves, which was my real goal, got one scroll just for the exp of killing the monsters (the scroll was pointless) and that was it. I'm almost at the point with my newest F/P to be able to go back in there, so I guess I'll check it out for myself pretty soon.

oh no for that quest you have to talk to the princess, and she'll say Oh you already gave it back! quest done. Talk to king after. EDIT: omgz ninja'd.

I saw a person that had that medal, so I don't know why. Brb, let me check if I had done that. EDIT:Lol, it does say "Not started"... EDIT2:Oh nevermind, I forgot to talk to the princess xD

Go back to the princess and talk to herr. I had the same problem..

Yeah me too. I finished Pepe's Scroll and then didn't get my medal, so I was like "wtf?" turns out you have to go to Princess Violetta ONE more time >.<

Ok I have the same problem. I did EVERYTHING and checked the quests needed for the medal and it says all the quests have ended. I completed all of them. I have no idea what's wrong. I talked to the Princess again and on my quest list there is nothing but the king still has the open book icon above his head.

Okay, anybody that still has this problem, open up your Medal window (idk about you, but I set the hotkey to '.') Go to the General tab and scroll down to Mushking Protector thing (I forget the exact title) and click on it. In the next window, scroll down the list of quests and see what you still need to do. @Gouken99, it just raises your stats. I forget by how much though.
