How do you run Maple using Vista?

Hi guy's, when I try to run maple on my laptop using windows vista SP1 when it get's to login or world select screen it will just close, and it say's maple is not compatible with the window's you are using. Is their a way of making it compatible, if yes please tell me how. Thank you?

I used to use maple on vista without having to do anything but say not to say this message again O_o, normally it doesn't just close on you

Well, you should get your computer updated first of all. o.O And like Cody said, you should check off that box to not show you that compatibility issue error again. It should run without doing anything. Do you have any error that pop up when MS just closes?

Try running it as administrator (right click>run as administrator) EDIT: (meaning the gamelauncher.exe)

Own Vista 64 bit SP1. Works completely fine except for some lag (which was revealed to be my ISP)

Well if you have AVG as your Anti-Virus, you may need to add MapleStory to the exceptions list which allows it to run without being blocked by AVG. Idk if that's been patched yet or not, but it's all I can think of. (:

Upgrade to SP2, run as administrator, check AVG like deathdinying said. If doing that doesn't work, you're screwed.

Go into the nexon file, choose setup. Allow it to change the resolution. Cha-ching.

Untick Maplestory on DEP.

U can try. Right click on maplestory.exe>Properties>Compatibility?>And then select windows xp from the menu.
