I think MapleStory is changing alot!

Well, with all that new patch coming in __ Months, and how the towns are changing, how most skills are decreasing / increasing ... Do you think it's somewhat of a new game? I don't mean it literally , but like... I'm imaging when it comes, itll look alot different from the maplestory I knew. Im not complaining for anything, I'm actually going to GREATLY enjoy it! New skills, the same class won't be "top dog" anymore, and you get to have alot more fun. I was actually getting bored of the old maplestory. From somewhere in a thread I heard this..but it's 100% true. "A game must change or it will die", or something along the lines of that. The new Victoria Island layout is really nice. I'll have fun exploring. :D I dont like the way Nexon basically cut Aran's critical in half though. Insult to injury - we already have low hp, and now decreased DPM too.

Yeah! I've had a problem where I could never level high at all... I think this can be my oppertunity, since I hear exp is being cut by alot! I will enjoy maple ALOT more, I got bored of the same old stuff. The new layout looks very nice now!

Psh. I think comparing maple before to the new kmst path is like comparing maple island before to maple island now. Edit: well... The new resolution looks cool, but that's about it as a hermit, Im neutral on both the dmg% increase and the no punch

Maplestory is gonna get REAL good after the patch! Of course there is some few more tweaks needed.

I like maplestory how it is cause getting 200 is obviously very hard and I love challenging games but with that patch people will be getting 4th job so easily and if everyone levels alot you won't be able to train at higher level place cause everyone will be there

I LOVE the new addition too. I don't like the cool down of a mage's ultimate though. I wouldn't mind a shorter cool down (~10 seconds), but 30-40? And I wanted Aran and Dual Blade to have their damage dropped, but by half? Kinda over done if you ask me.

I think they made cooldown on ultimates because if im correct, some mages were only ultimate...pot...infinity...ultimate..ultimate... and they wanted to vary their playstyle and use teir other skills. And I think they already had like a 4 second cooldown between casts, ive never timed it. I was hoping theyd make it maybe 10-15 sec cooldown Same with aran/db, those things are NERFED.. but im still going to make one, i play for fun

Maplestory actually did change a lot. It use to be all about fun. But now its all about leveling and calling each other "noobs".

I personally CANT wait for this patch! Besides the cooldown mages. It seems like everything will be more equal. I'm SOO gla they are making the statless people equal with regular. The island changes will be sweet Man, this is gonna be soooo sick.
