Calling all dream interpretors

I thought I'd get basil's opinion on something I've been thinking about lately... Okay, so I'm starting to obsess over a woman in my dreams. She started appearing 3 nights ago and continues to appear in one dream every night. When I wake up, I remember all of my other dreams except that one; all I can recall is her face. It seems as if it's the same dream each time but I still cannot remember anything more except her face. Oddly enough, I feel like I know her but yet I know for a fact that I have never seen her before in real life. In addition, I feel a strong emotional connection towards her and I can't help but feel obligated in finding out why I feel this way towards a person I don't know. What makes it even more baffling is due to the fact that I feel like this dream is set in the future. So ya, it's pretty odd and I don't know what to make of it. So if you guys have any explanation or interpretation for this then feel free to post them.

In dreams, faces of people are always, always someone you've seen in real life, even if it's just a stranger's face as you walked by. That's probably the case for you. I suggest you let out some pent-up sexual instincts.

im very good at dreams and symbols first of all the woman represnts the girl u want but u cant have shes the one that ur soul is subconciously striving to get but cant get next u only see her face bec u r only looking at her outside beauty im tellin u inside she is very ugly person an has big personality problms an even tho shes hot u will not stay long with her what u should do is that u should reacess urself and next time u go on date u should be careful bec she might have ocd or schizo or autism or mpd or psychotic or neurotic dieseases even tho she looks mad hot i think mad hot is what guys say right lol?

She reminds me of someone I know because they both have the same blond hair, but that's about it. [/quote] The first part makes sense, but then the second part of that doesn't. This connection towards her is anything but shallow. It was as if she radiated beauty, in both personality and appearance.

[/quote] I think you should stop trying to make a connection between this person and someone you know. The important thing is actually that you don't know her. Dreams are predominantly sexual in nature, only our subconscious minds turn those thoughts into something more suitable because it's a taboo to think about such things. I still think it's a show of teenage hormones, but I don't believe in overanalyzing dreams anyway.

I used to get dreams similar to this. (Except the person was a guy.) Honestly, don't worry too much about it. It won't help to stress about what you think it might mean. It could mean anything from "You're actually adopted, and she's your mother!" to "You want your mother...." to "That's your future wife!" to "You need to eat less sausage." Let your dreams be your dreams and don't read too much into them for your future decisions.

That could be your subconsciousness again. [/quote] Thanks. One more question before I close the thread: Can a dream like this offer more insight if I were to remember the whole thing? For example, if I figure out the setting, what was going on, or if anything in the dream that triggers something I know in the conscious mind, then is there more to it? I know it's a bit obsessive, but sometimes I feel as if some dreams do have relevance and that I should listen to them; this seems like one of them.
