Getting Birth Control.

Okay... So I want to ask my mother for birth control because it regulates/lightens periods and helps clear up skin, but I think if I ask, she'll think I want it because I'm going to see my long-distance boyfriend this summer and that I'll want to 'mess around' with him (that actually is a main reason, but she won't know that lol). Do you think I could convince her that's not the reason I want it? If so, what could I say? I think I'm going to ask when she gets home from work today. why do u need birth control just buy the mornin after pill even if u didnt wear condoms durin sex theres female condoms u no and male condoms but the female condoms r more expensive but anyways the mornin after pill prevents pregnancy even after rough sex i think u have to take it 12-24 hrs after sex tho

We're 16. o_o But it's my choice and my life, so it shouldn't really matter. @Above : One of the main reasons I want it besides as a contraceptive is because it regulates periods. I'm so sick of having an irregular period. -_-

It's confidential if you buy it (but it with cash so your mom can't check). Plus, if you go to your local teenage pregnancy clinic they have free condoms just sitting on the counter.

[/quote] Well I don't really have very much money (I have to save it to pay for shots for my kitten) and my town doesn't even have a Teen Pregnancy Clinic. Also, I want to feel him , not latex .

Seriously you should just pretend its for a lighter period, but your mom will know anyways. No matter how you phrase it, she is going to know. UNLESSS you had better planning. You should have started this about 3 months ago. Each time you have your period you are supposed to complain super loud and go.... omg.... i have been having such bad cramps for some reason. Then after 3 months of complaining, THEN you ask for the birth control. WIN!
