Look, I don't know why people are saying Bishops/AMs don't deserve to spam their ultimate's. They're are not as good as other attackers on single-monsters, so they have their ultimate's. I for one love spamming blizzard. Yes, Chain Lightning and Ice Demon is also very fun, but all three make it extremely fun. Why are they putting a cool-down time for mages? Can't they just leave their ultimate's and increase CL and ID? And I still haven't seen proof for this either. My point is, we Bishops/AMs had to suffer because of all the other attackers, especially legends. I started hitting 5k at level 90 on fire monsters. LEVEL 90! And My Aran hit 11k at level 60. Now you're telling me we deserve a cool-down? Also, don't tell me about leeching because I don't care about it; I don't sell nor buy it. That's not my purpose with blizzard. And if Nexon is implementing the cool-down just to stop leech, it's a terrible idea because there are still gunna be BF leeches and whatnot. It won't work. I know a better way to fix leeching. Anyways, my point is that this is unnecessary and gives us a HUGE disadvantage towards damage and fun. P.S. Don't tell me to "learn" to pick up my items that drop, because I still do that & have been since level 1.

Go look up Fiel's extractions on SP for proof. Also, I agree, but I'd like to add; if they actually gave us decent 1v1 DPM in comparison to other classes I'd be fine. But of course, they're not going to.

Most of them want it to be removed cause its being abused by KSers and we Lv faster than other classes. < Facepalm..

they're all gonna realize am's and bish's are gonna be the least of their problems when battle mages and db come out.. personally i'd rather have a high dpm skill than an ultimate. but that's just me

They super charged your 1vs1 atks....so you trade AOE attacks for some 1vs1 dps

@ Kalemora: I still don't wan ta cooldown, but I was expecting at least 180% for amp., but NO! only a 10% boost >.> @ GinSaan: That's not fair nor logical at all because there are still Night Lords that KS, etc. @ tigerclaws56: IKR? @ tchui1269: They can just leave the ultimate's as is and raise our 1v1 DPM. @ jhkplaya808: I don't know about that, I'll have to check it out, but I still want them to keep the ultimate's the same because it's strong, but not THAT strong, right?

Well keep in mind it's not really implemented yet and its a TEST SERVER. The point of mages is to mob and have elemental weakness damage... And I'm ID and CL were boosted in this last patch. I kinda think this is more fair.

The point isn't to nerf magicians. In fact, every single class is receiving considerable reworks and adjustments.

And this is why my main is Aran. I'm not going to have something stupid done to make me tons weaker. On the flipside, I feel like they're going to do something incredibly stupid with Bandits/Chief Bandits/Shadowers, which disappoints me because it's my favorite Adventurer. I know nothing bad happened to them yet, but they nerfed Dragon Strike and Demolition for a critical. Personally, I think that's dumb as hell.

Even though CL, Bliz, and ID and AMP got boosted, it's not anything to make people say "WOW MAGES OWN NOW I WANT THEM!" Blizzard damage is excellent, i'll agree with that. But ID and CL are still weak. My CL only got like a 5k damage boost. It's only strong on electric-weak enemies (Yes 5k is a lot of damage, but not significantly enough compared to the other classes, esp. the hero classes). Amp only got a 10% boost...
darklime : I still want them to keep the ultimate's the same because it's strong, but not THAT strong, right?
It IS that strong. 20 seconds or whatever is still a little much, I'd say maybe 10 seconds or so would be better instead, but still. The fact is, spamming ultimates is very lazy. There are plenty of other RPG games involving mages that don't have anything close to that kind of ability, they do a lot of running around and smart casting, using multiple skills against enemies to use a buildup of debuffs and negative effects to bring them down. Whereas Mages in Maple must only press a button, and demolish everything. The cooldown is added to try and make you more of a skill-variety class, rather than the sit-and-spam Mages currently are. Also, your other attacks get a buff. This is their way of trying to get Mages into bossing runs. All in all, I don't see why it's too much of a problem. It's not like you'll level slower, that patch comes with a massive experience requirement decrease on all levels.
