Use your other skills, like chain lightning or shining ray! So what if you cant spam a lazur all over the screen... looks like you have to learn how to move. I think its fair to all classes, since mages still have their ultimate, they just cant spam it. In the meantime, pick up the dropped items to make money. PS: I HAVE a mage, and he does fine without fancy schmancy lasers, better than my aran for a fact. DONT FORGET that magic damage is based on % now, your other skills will be better @Gin something Blaze wizards are technically mages =_=, and just because you spent 5 years getting your arch mage to 130 doesnt mean you should get the best treatment...

Well, I hope they buff those skills so that we're on par with the other classes. It should actually be fun to do more than press 2 buttons for ultimate monster ownage (Ultimate + mp potion).

Angel Ray is extremely weak. Chain Lightning goes the same way. Shining Ray is even worse. Don't even consider Big Bang. Wrong section anyway.

Mages train preeeetty slow without their ultimates since they're not attacker classes so I disagree. Bishops + Priests's magic attacks aren't very strong either; I only know this because I play my friend's bishop from time to time. She only does 18k maximum with Angel Ray (maxed) on non-holy monsters for a level 16x bishop. And what about training with them now? Do you have any idea how hard it is to level even with 4x? I can only get 6% an hour soloing alone at skeles on 1x. >_>; A lot of attacker classes train with a 4th job mage/bishop whenever they can to speed up their training obviously because they cannot get the same exp rate as they do.

dude..... everyone needs to realize that all their other skills got buffed up like Chain Lightning and Paralyze, along with the new damage formula has been changed. And all other classes had their skills edited too. For instance Aran's Second job combo smash only does 500% instead of 700%. I know Ive never played a 4th job mage in my life and its heart breaking to see that their ultimates cant be spammed so they cant leech others for income, or just get a faster leveling in general. However, for those who thinks mages are only good of ultis, maybe its time to try out th enew mages before quitting.

Mages have torture from 1-120 they make up for if by being the fastest leveling class in game with their ultimates, now they'll need to endure more torture.
