Do you have to lvl from 1-50 to get the ring?

Hi, do you have to lvl from 1-50 to get the ring or if im lvl 48 and i lvl to 50 ill still get the ring? Thanks

So that thread says you get a light bulb at 51 for any character that's above level 8 to level 30 more times to get the ring. What if you're level 2x, could we just level to 50 and get the ring? I mean I got one of the level 20 weapons when I first logged on after the patch.

you have to be level 50, to even get the quest. then level up 30 times.

if you have a char under lvl 50 then when you get to 50 you will get the ring you can transfer through storage ONE time i hope i answered your questions :D (i started a new char the day before patch and got him to 18 and then after patch got him to 20 and i got the weapon so if that works then the ring shall work as well)
