Requesting (Semi) Specific Music Suggestions

I made one of these ages ago... But anyway, two bands I was suggested that I became extremely fond of are: Los Campesinos! Johnny Foreigner So I'm looking for other bands with their kind of style. High energy rock, combination of male and female vocals. String instruments, xylophones, etc. add a nice touch the way Los Campesinos! uses them. I'm sorta looking for additions like that as well, as opposed to a pure basic rock set-up.

the ting tings are pretty similar to LC! although their music style is slightly closer to pop give them a try

Fang Island goes to Kindergarten reminded me of Los Camp. somehow. The Magnetic Fields Morning Benders Dunno, not really as upbeat as los camp.'s earlier stuff but I'll just assume you're talking about Romance is Boring.
