what is a battle mage?

Hey everyone I was just wondering what the heck is a battle mage? I thought dual blades was the newest class but now I'm reading about battle mages... are they some kind new legendary or anothermage branch?

Battle Mage is one of 3 new jobs in the Resistance job branch (Also can be known as the Black Magician followers.) The 3rd job however is not yet finished so there are currently only 2 out (Battle Mage and Wild Hunter) Battle Mage takes the main aspect of a magician and flips it into a brand new unique class. They use Staffs as their main weapon and their main attack resembles an Aran in terms of they get 1 skill then as they job advance it upgrades to hit more times. Like regular magicians their main stat is INT. They also get a set of unique party buffs known as Auras (Dark Aura, Yellow Aura, and Blue Aura). Each one has a different effect and as far as I'm aware you can combine the Dark and Yellow auras (not sure if this is a glitch or not would have to clarify that with someone.) Dark Auras raise your damage % Blue Aura absorbs damage then splits some of it among party members, increases your defense by a %, Yellow Aura increases movement speed and attacking speed of a player (kinda like a mix of Speed Infusion and Haste), and also decrease a monsters speed. One note is that they do not have Magic Guard at all, giving a twist to the normal magician experience, instead they gain Conversion which at max completely doubles their HP (They have a much higher base HP then a normal magician also as an obvious point.) There's plenty of other stuff but those are some of the basics.

This game is really messed up. When it used to be 4-5 classes only it was awsome now we get a new class every 3 monthes or something and you have MAAANY choices and it's not more fun.I mean if they release a class per year you would have time to TRY each class right?
