Help with my new spearmen

I've decided to make a spearmen but im completly new to them so can someone please tell me when to cap my dex. I have 150 mil to spend and dont know what equips to use. Also should i use polearm til 3rd job then go to spear or what? All help is appreciated xD

Theres a hybrid spearman guide, which is wat ur planning to be since ur using a polearm, and will also suggest places to cap ur dex. There is also a recommended warrior equips guide, which will tell u wat u need depending on wat lv u cap ur dex. Check the guides before making a thread please :D

Go hybrid spearmen. Use P/A's in 2nd job till about lv 130 then switch over to spears. Reason is the ratio is 3:2 (slash to stab) in which slash does more with p/a and stab does more for stab. In 3rd job you get attack skills that force you to use one or the other, so never get Final attack it doesnt work with those skills anyway. Max Hb, Mastery for both, booster for both. good day sir.
