Should I make an aran?

blehh but i hate the quests cuz they are required to get skills and crap... is it worthh it?

I get bored of most classes around 50. With Aran I'm at 138 and still not bored. Hope that helps.

Yes it is. The quests can be annoying, but they help a lot. I mean most mobs hit 6, and 12 for your regular attack? it's very beast, and the funnest character i've played.

well first of all if ur not funded or pro and u play MS for fun only then arans are ok. But if u are funded/pro and u wanna make a character that isnt failing then i would sugest another job.

If you dont want to get the "skills and crap", then gg. Final charge quest = Pure Hell. Combo Smash Quest = Not too hard, but annoying.

Imo I think a Priest is more failing, since even at 200 all you can do is heal others, you can't contribute damage wise in boss runs and at 200 even soloing Pap would take a long time.

[/quote] well obviously ur a noob look when arans werent out we were fine in parties bossing (Hero,NL,DRK,Bishop) but if we didnt have priests/bishops then no1 can heal which means that the NL will die faster and if an aran doesnt have combo they cant even hit very high at all - arans were only made for noobs that didnt want to take the hard way to lvl and they are only for fun, coz without thier combo they are nothing + we dont NEED them in parties coz NL does good DPM and hero does good DPS and is a good tank + Drk has HB and bishop can heal - wiht aran it may be easier but we dont NEED them which tells us they arent as good as the other 4 jobs i have been talking about

[/quote] i loled at this. thought u would knw. anyone at lvl 200, with enough money, can solo most bosses. maybe up to zakum. maybe more depends on class. but a lvl 200 bishop wont take long soloing pap, 23m hp LOL. a friend of mine lvl 12x bishop, good gear, took like 20mintues, i was there. also bishop+drk do all the killing for summoned mobs in boss run and do som damage to the other parts to the boss like zakum. bishops heal+big bang+genesis+party buff+holysimbol+bahamut+resurrection+dispel+mystic door. without em ur dead. they do a lot of solo even to bosses. not the best, but u cant say they are bad. the worst would be other mages or CK personaly i wouldnt make one, but it is up to u. yes they are strong in dpm. but not as good as KL or sair. if ur wanting to make aran for dpm u should rather make a NL or a sair. if for the hp, Drk or Hero. for dpm+hp, palay s are good dpm, good hp, beautiful skills.

[/quote] Aran's do more DPM than every other class including the ones you mentioned. And to the other guy, a combo is easy to keep up; and even without it they still do really good damage.
