Dcing at Boss alters

I don't know what's wrong i keep dcing at the boss alters when zak gets to 2nd body and when targar turned 3rd body. Sure it was both targar and scarlion but w/e. I know windows 7 isnt compatible with MS but there must be some reason this is continuously happening because i used to have no problems doing these bosses. Help?

What happens when you d/c? Does it say like Maplestory stopped working? I have vista home premium 64 bit and I d/ced on the 2nd body of zakum and d/ced when trying to get to the scar/targa map. I found that i have to play in windowed mode. When i leave maplestory in windowed mode, the d/cing stopped.

I get a similar issue, but I have Windows Vista; sadly, I'm not sure what the problem is, or how to fix it... Edit at athos28: I'm going to have to try that out soon =P

I have Win7 it is compatible with MS it just has a few bugs ive done all most every boss and i didnt dc Keep your quality at the lowest Before 3rd body and at the beginning alt tab a few times and try changing your quality like go from lowest - low - lowest again EDIT:I usually play in Windowed mode and go into full screen then alt tab then go windowed mode again(you need auto pot or a bishop healing you while you do this)

Well it's always a no lag maplestory crash. Today in zakum my maplestory flickered and then i dc'd. In scarlion/targar Both bosses were in 3rd body and i dc'd. I tried alt tabbing. And i typically play in windowed mode anyway. Just keeps happening.

try windowed and lower almost all-the-way low quality

Nah i don't know who popo is and it's a tech thing cause dc hackers cause lag for me. my maplestory crashes on it's own accord.

I have Windows Vista Business (I know PoS) on my laptop and before I enter the altar, I go to the Windows Task Manager and end the Explorer.exe process. That has resolved my d/c issues at 3rd body. Once you logoff Maple, you'll have to go back to task manager and logoff and log back on so Explorer.exe starts back up and Windows runs normally.

you don't have to log off to start explorer.exe back up, just go to task manager>file>run>explorer.exe

I'm using a Windows 7 32bit and I'm having the same problem. But, there's a way to prevent dcing! Enter at the highest quality. After you kill the arms, at the beginning of the 1st body, turn your graphics down by 1knotch and then do it again at the beginning of the 2 and 3 body. You should be at the lowest quality by then. It has never failed me! Works every time!
