Are Heroes really THAT weaksauce?

-Heroes have the 3 lowest DPM. (excluding mages/bishops) My question is: 1) What is keeping Heroes from being mediocre? 2) Can any heroes testify to some of the problems that they have come across and some of the issues they face (training, being ksed, being overlooked in boss runs) 3)How do Blunt weapon Paladins beat 2handed and 1 handed Heroes? They are nowhere near a Corsair, Night Lord, Bowmaster, or Marksman in terms of DPM I believe. Also, it seems as if DrKs finally come forth... about bloody time I say. But this doesn't take into consideration Berzerk's 50% HP affect, control of character, range of attacks, etc...

Drk's would do even more if SI was being used. But then again, so would executioner heroes. Oh and uh, better than mages at least.

they haven't been helped due to shadowers and other classes, compared to heroes were weaker or some skills needed some boost

Their are 11 attacking class and Heroes are the 8th strongest. that is not Middle - Top, that is bottom- last. Not including the fact that the bottom two classes have useful party skills. edit: Motivation Plz? Everyone just seems to be agreeing...

Lol jesus you people only make characters for DPM now a days? I know damage is important come on now really? You don't want to finish your character because if ALL the classes had PERFECT gear at LVL 200 then you wouldn't be on top? Your not looking for motivation to keep playing, your looking for reasons to stop. If you don't like your sader then quit it, its as easy as that

everything seems alright, no idea why Dk's suddenly got a big boost over heroes, when % equips come in pallies will go last again and db shall be king

The damage calculations rely on a LOT of factors, such as perfect control and a boss that sits there and does nothing. Heroes are VERY versatile, plus they can mob, so double or triple that damage at zakum arms and they are beasty.
