Having your bf or gf over at your parents' house

When you have your bf or gf over at your parents' house, do your parents ever let them sleepover? And if they do, do they let you sleep in the same bed as them? Same room as them? (Also, post your age and/or your bf/gf age too).

Once, after our formal (prom, whatever). He had to sleep in the living room and I had to sleep in my room. Of course, I fell asleep on the living room floor. However, he had left his phone in my room, which is beside my parents' room, and the alarm went off at 6:52am. A very loud, parent-waking alarm. He was 17, I was 18 (and still am).

funny the rents and i were just having a conversation about this lol i don't have a significant other at the moment and i've never had any prior ones that have been serious enough, but we're going on vacation soon and somehow the topic got on to me bringing my friends with me and they said that if it was a girl that they would have to sleep in a completely different room, no exceptions if only they knew they'd be getting me into the exact situation they'd want to avoid with a girl if they let me sleep in the same room with a boy hehe oh i'm 16

I JUST became allowed to have boys in my room, I am 23. There is no way in hell one would be allowed to spend the night. My parents are very old fashioned, well, mostly my dad I guess. Their house, their rules I guess. I need to move off Long Island so I can move out D:

I'm 17, my gf 16. If my parents let her sleep over I'd be really really concerned with their judgment. If they let her sleep over in the same room they are not fit to be parents. If they let her sleep in the same bed, they need to be institutionalized. Unless they really want grandchildren. That's just asking for it.

When I was in high school my gf slept over a few times. She slept on the couch in the living room.

[/quote] They don't want grandkids. I guess they don't care about my sister because they worship her boyfriend and he was allowed to sleep on the couch. However, rules are different for me, whose responsible.

They don't mind, as long as they can't "hear" us. .....whatever that means. I'm 17, he's 16; but his parents have a problem with us sleeping in the same room whenever I'm over.

My parents wouldn't have a problem with it. They never have actually. Ever since I was about 14 I had free reign over who came and went into and out of my room. I think the low flow of traffic and my disinterest in sex probably made it that way. I've had girls sleep in my room, in my bed, in their bed, etc. etc. No naughtyness went on. My bed is for sleepin' man. Though there have been plenty of times for courtesy and comfort that I've slept on the floor or couch or elsewhere when staying at someone's place, or when someone I don't particularly know (but know well enough), is staying in my room. They take the bed, I take the couch / floor. The few times I've stayed with someone else was when I was 18 - I'm 20 now. They were the same age at the time. When people stay at my house it's been ranges of ages. Mostly older than me. ... Also that being said if I ever came out of my room having done something naughty I think my dad would high-five me and say 'About time.'
