| is dying or something. So I bought 3 hibuna fish today to add to my other gold fishes and total there are 6 fishes in a 10 gallon tank. 2 of them are very active with my other fishes and one of them seems like it has no energy. It sinks to the bottom and just lies there on the gravel. Help Me |

| Is the tank filtered? Ok it probably is. stupid question. It's just the one fish that is in poor health so yeah it is either sleeping or dying. |

| If the fish is indeed ill or dying, I advise you to take it out away from the other fish so nothing happens to them. Is anything wrong with the scales? (peeling, discolored) |

|
begrma : Fish don't sleep. Yours are dying.
Fish do sleep, but they continue to swim while they sleep. If they stopped swimming they would die to the lack of the counter-current exchange to their gills. |

| I also changed water today like 1/2 of the water but then I didn't add conditioner. But the other fishes are fine. should I pour in some conditioner right now? will it harm it if I pour it now? OH and the fish keeps on opening and closing its mouth. my parents are going to take it out of the tank. just incase it it has a disease and it spreads other fishes. We are putting it in a betta fish tank but then it has no filter how can we keep it alive without a filter? |

| wait, so your fish are going up for air? that mean's your water current isnt strong enough. you need a filter to circulate the air throughout your tank. |

| the fish isn't going up for air anymore. It is lying on the gravel right now and it is not sleeping because fish usually sleep floating a little and this one just lies there and its been there for a long time now. I think its the water because I changed the water without adding conditioner. Can I add conditioner right now into the tank while the fishes are in there? |
