How old is too old for braces?

So yeah, im gonna be a senior next year, and im getting braces this summer. Im like 16. Is that too old? o.o

16 is far from too old i say, really i wouldnt worry about when is too old when your only 16.

Well, I got them when I was 15 a few months ago. Sophomore. It's not too old, at least you'll have them off by the time you're 18-19.

[/quote] or maybe the month they were born in was either late or early january early december late? i was 16 when i got braces , demcember 27th, turned 17 on january, and i know someone that just got their braces in grade 12, and my uncle (no relation just family friend) got his braces at like 30's. i guess their isn't any age limit to get braces, but i guess your golden ages shouldn't get?

Okay thanks guys, its just that i see kids in like elementary having braces and most of the people in high school got their braces off by like freshman or sophomore year.

I have to say that if it helps improve your smile as is beneficial to your overall health, its never to old an age to get braces... unless your like 60 or something i mean, they dont have that long to enjoy their nice teeth anyway o_O

hard metal steel braces, 18+ is too old take 'em out those clear plastic ones that u can put in easily, any age after you're an adult.
