Seriously why the slinger bandwagon?

| Can someone tell me why everyone is bandwagoning slingers? Sure, they get a nice boost to double shot in 1st and 2nd job, but their main training skill is invisible shot anyways, and even with the upgrades they're still the weakest ranged class in 1st/2nd job (and of course the other ranged classes, sins and bowmen, get a huge boost from crit rings as well)... and then in 3rd job, Outlaws don't really get any useful upgrades, while both Bowmen and Sins now surpass them thanks to the critical rings. And then everyone seems to think that the balance patch makes Sairs so much more powerful compared to the other 4th job ranged classes, when really the 13% increase to strafe/hurricane and 10% increase to TT w/SE provided by crit rings (Sairs only get a 4% increase to SE DPM from crit rings) is a proportional increase to NL, BM, and MM DPM at least equal to, if not greater than, the increase to Sair DPM provided by the balance patch. And why do those same people who argue that "sairs that have good control can stay on their ship 100% of the time" cite the balance patch as a useful upgrade...? If you're on your ship 100% of the time, the increased ship hp and buff to rapid fire provide ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. ARGH BASIL YOU MAKE NO SENSE! |

| well the crit rings do stack with thorn and SE so then can have high crit chance over they canon dmg which is pure godly, that was off topic. people are probably making slingers because after balance patch it alot easier to train them to sair then it was before. |

|
darkcutter666 : when was invisible shot EVER a main attacking skill? O.O;
Since gunslingers came out? If you aren't using your mob skill in 2nd job, you're doing it wrong. |

| He's actually right... Invisible IS the main training skill... But most people PQ during 2nd job and end up using double shot also gunslingers aren't really getting bandwaggoned |

|
darkcutter666 : when was invisible shot EVER a main attacking skill? O.O;
Since needed to kill mobs in second job. Also this bandwagon is because everyone is overestimating their power. |

| Invisible shot was never a main skill you ignorant person. Secondly... They can shoot at point blank range now.. this is universal.. from 1st - 4th job You as a NL still punch monsters when they are too close to you... fail No matter what boost you get.. Sair > NL ...get over it Buff to rapid fire provides nothing? Uhm.. rapid fire shoots at point blank range now? and when ur 120-150 your ship doesnt have much HP so rapid fire is till good.. ur not on it 100% of the dam time |

| Just let them bandwagon. More than half of them are going to quit before they get to level 70 anyway. |

What makes you think people will quit before level 70? 1-50 is a breeze with PQ's. Then 60-70 isn;t that hard. Well maybe to me because I use to train on Retz at level 40 getting 10%/hr. |
