Ever come close to dying?

So my friend and I almost died today. My friend was the one driving us home from work. We were driving at about 90kph, thats like 60mph, and yes thats speeding. This random car comes out from a small street trying to merge onto the oncoming lane. It felt like the car skid for several meters even though we slammed on the brakes the second we saw that car. Then we fingered the dude in the other car and drove to the side to catch our breath. =) So have you people ever come close to an accident or even dying? And no its not 100% our fault because the other car is supposed to yield to cars going straight And no we weren't speeding cause its "cool", my friend needed to get home and take a dump

I remember when I was six, I went out in the ocean during high-tide and I didn't realize the waves were that strong. I got caught under one and went under. The last thing I remember was trying to get back up but I couldn't. Some teenager on a boogie board saved me. c:

Okay, my mom was driving, I was in the passenger, and my 3 year old sister was sitting in the back left seat. It's a little Toyota Sebring. So we're driving along, and this moron flies out of a parking lot, across the median, and thank god hits our back left tire, which absorbs most of the shock. So we do about 2 spins and land smack dab on the median to our left. The guy who hit us was also on the median, about 50 feet behind us. Here's how lucky we were: If the guy would have hit our tank, we would have exploded and died. Had he he hit the back left car door, my sister would have died. Had he hit the driver door, my mom would have died. Had he hit EITHER of those doors, I would have died, because there was a telephone pole to the right of us. The impact to the middle point of the car would have sent us rolling into it. Had we NOT landed on the median, we would have been hit by another car. Had my mom NOT sped up and fishtailed when he hit, we would have rolled and landed upside in the middle of the road. So yeah, can anyone beat that?

I was nearly ran over like 5 times in my visit to the Philippines >_> I almost drowned when I was boogie boarding and some random guy catches a wave behind me and I got sandwhiched between him and the sand. I was coughing up sand for so long after that

I fell in the whitewater rapids when I was 8 or 9. Hit my head on a rock while in the water, and also lost my glasses. Luckily some guys way ahead saw me and caught me in a net and pulled me out.
